At these price points, NeuronWriter is a steal. There are very few products on the market today that come with all of the features of NeuronWriter, never mind the price point.
For a limited time, NeuronWriter has a lifetime deal on AppSumo starting at $69, allowing you to get in at an even lower price point.
NeuronWriter Alternatives
SurferSEO: Content Optimization
SurferSEO, similar to NeuronWriter, is a search engine optimization (SEO) platform designed to help businesses enhance their online visibility on search engines.
As a powerful content optimization tool, SurferSEO has many of the same features as NeuronWriter, such as a content score.
Unlike NeuronWriter, SurferSEO does not have AI writing capabilities, and is also a bit more expensive when compared to NeuronWriter, starting at $49/mo.
I found SurferSEO’s content SEO optimisation tools to be superior to NeuronWriter’s but at a more hefty price, and doesn’t feature an AI writing tool. Bigger businesses who are not concerned with the price might find SurferSEO better suited to their use case if they are solely focused on content optimization
Jasper: AI Writing
Jasper is a different kind of SEO optimization tool, as it specializes in AI writing. It offers automated content creation and editing so that businesses can produce well-structured articles quickly and efficiently.
I found Jasper to be well worth the money if you are looking for a tool to help with creating content quickly. But if your business focuses more on optimizing content and less on writing, then you may not have as much of a need for an AI writer such as Jasper.

Can you use NeuronWriter to replace Jasper and Surfer SEO in 2023?
While I enjoyed the features of NeuronWriter, as well as its desire to be the ultimate package, I found the experience of SurferSEO and Jasper to be a bit slicker.
I prefer to write my articles in Google Documents, and both Jasper and SurferSEO have extensions enabling me to do so. With NeuronWriter, I was forced to use their content writing tool. While the content editor and content writer of NeuronWriter are not slouches, I was missing the ability to use keyboard shortcuts to change font and heading types.
Those on a budget can likely get away with using just NeuronWriter, but those who require the collaboration tools such as Google Documents in their content writing process will likely have to spend a lot of time copying and pasting the content back and forth.
Final Thoughts – Is NeuronWriter worth it?
NeuronWriter is a great tool for businesses and content creators looking to improve their online presence and search engine rankings. Overall, I was a fan of the integrated experience. Having the content optimization tool with a content score, as well as keyword research tool all in one editor felt on par with the industry-leading Jasper and SurferSEO integration, and at a lower price to boot.

If there’s one thing missing from NeuronWriter, it’s the ability to type your document in Google Documents – I missed the keyboard shortcuts available within GSuite while I was writing within NeuronWriter.
